Aliana Contreras

I'm an architect with 8 years of experience, and I have a masters degree in architecture visualization. I worked for 4 years at CDMS Architects, an award winning RIBA Chartered Practice in Brighton, UK. When I moved, I continued my architecture work as a freelancer. I perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the project, and finally the presentation.

Architecture fun fact:

My favorite building is Biblioteca Virgilio Barco, in Bogotá. The architect is Rogelio Salmona. I like it because the design includes a circular structure of three floors, which fits snugly into the topography of the area; around it has water mirrors and it looks integratec with nature. The use of brick is very well studied. Each space of the library has been designed for people to feel comfortable.
